Raftsmen on the Dunajec River

Second place was awarded to Poland and Slovakia for the Raftsmen on the Dunajec River issue released on 3 September 2004. Designed by Jacek Brodowski.

3: China and Greece
Summer Olympic Games, Athens 2004, Beijing 2008

Third place was awarded to China and Greece for the Olympic Games issue released on 13 August 2004. Designed by Ma Gang.

The selection was made among 32 joint issues released in 2004 involving 66 postal administrations (but only 57 countries) and representing in total 116 stamps and 30 souvenir sheets. Omnibus and territorial issues were excluded from the contest.

Congratulations to all postal administrations and to their designers for the high quality stamps produced during the year 2004.
